Professionalism, kindness – complete with routine hugs from Ford --  has earned the Schells ongoing endorsement of the sales team. “The whole experience has been a total pleasure.”
After John and Flora Schell began to explore the possibility of moving from their home in Evergreen to Castle Pines Village – reasons that included friends in the area, children who now live in town, their love of the wooded, elegant atmosphere, and less winter weather with which to contend – the sales team at Castle Pines Village Realty and Wanda Ford in particular, sealed the deal. “They’re all wonderful,” Flora reports,” but Wanda’s our favorite. We just have a spark with her.”

The couple discovered Beau Village, Forest Glen’s luxury patio home collection. With help from the builder and Ford’s veteran guidance, the Schells were able to realize their dream home, a place they truly felt they’d belonged. Flora’s visions of their ideal residence – made complete by the perfect homesite – came true in May of 2006.

When Jaime Jamison and her husband, Bruce decided to buy a home in Colorado, the Californian couple -- who were intent on living in a golf course community – initially were shown a competitive neighborhood by their in-town broker.

Although they were pleased with what they saw and were considering purchasing, “when we actually looked at Castle Pines Village as a reference point, we fell in love with it instead,” says Jamison. “The views were tremendous. And the community was just right – not too secluded, but just the perfect amount of privacy. There was no turning back, this was our new home.”

Jaime and Bruce researched Castle Pines Village through the website, www.castlepines.com, and became acquainted with resident Broker, Louie Lee. “He couldn’t have been more helpful or knowledgeable about the entire area.

“And just as importantly, Louie knows all the custom builders and their styles inside and out. He knows their personalities and strengths and helped us find the one who meshed perfectly with our tastes and needs.

“Louie brought a perspective and invaluable time-garnered opinions that helped us make a decision we’ll be happy with for years to come. A custom home is so expensive and personal, it needs an expert to guide the process. Louie was that person who looked out for our interests through the whole process. It’s given us peace to know we’re in such good hands and overall it’s been a great experience.

Both Louie and the team at Castle Pines Village Realty is undeniably the source for this part of town. We’re active golfers and Louie introduced to several other resident couples at the Castle Pines Country Club, showed us around and really made us feel at home,” adds Jamison. “He understood our lifestyle and he helped us find the perfect home.”

The Jamisons decided on a beautiful custom home by Gray Construction, made some changes to fit their wants and needs and plan to be at home among the scrub oak and ponderosas in September 2006.

“We had a lot of obstacles, and it wasn’t always easy, but they hung in there and we got the job done.”

That’s how John Cosgrove describes the recent sale of his Castle Pines Village home and experience with Castle Pines Village Realty and resident broker Louie Lee.

“It took just about a year to sell the home,” explains Cosgrove, “the high-end housing market was really tough, corporate relocations to Denver were slow and buyers really had a great deal of inventory to choose from. Plus, we were competing with the new home custom market as well, where buyers were able to create exactly what they wanted from the ground up. We had quite the task before us.

Cosgrove credits Lee’s flexibility and resolve. “With Louie’s ongoing advice – he never stopped coming to us with ideas and angles from which we could sell and market our home – we were able to make the right changes that eventually created the sale. And the entire Castle Pines Village Realty really kept us updated on showings and input we’d received from potential buyers. The knowledge we gained through the process was very helpful.”

The Cosgroves, who moved to Arizona prior to the home’s sale, were faced with an added degree of challenge. “We weren’t in town to personally make the recommended improvements and modifications to resolve the buyers inspection requests, so Castle Pines Village Realty was totally instrumental in arranging for and coordinating with contractors and vendors to complete the work. It was above and beyond what we ever expected they’d do to help us and we would have been very challenged to have done it without them. It made a big difference.”

When asked if he’d recommend the team to other Village residents Cosgrove says, “Absolutely. Anyone can sell a home in a booming market. It takes a pro to sell during challenging times. Their effort, onsite knowledge, professionalism, marketing savvy and perseverance was the key to our success.”

“Friendly. Open.  More than willing to spend as much time as it took to meet our every need. His attention to me and my husband was unsurpassed.”

That’s the glowing description Margrite Tillquist gives of Castle Pines Village Realty’s resident broker, Louie Lee who recently sold the couple’s home. After living in the Village for 18 years and planning a move to Ft. Collins, it was important the duo chose a real estate professional who understood the unique challenges of selling the Castle Pines Village community and who was able to bring a personal touch to meet their individual needs.

“I’d known Mike Buck for what seems like 100 years,” says Tillquist of Castle Pines Village Realty’s owner and managing broker, “so when he recommended Louie, we knew we were going to be in good hands. The first time we met – he lives just a couple houses up from us -- he was carrying his daughter on his shoulders and you could see his genuine personality really shine through. I could appreciate right then and there what kind of a quality person were dealing with,” adds Tillquist.

“He kept us updated about the showings we’d had and was diligent in coordinating with our buyers to make the entire transaction as easy as possible. There were a great deal of intricate details to be tended to and I really feel as if we had a friend in our corner throughout the entire process. Our experience was thoroughly enjoyable.”

"When buying or selling a home in Castle Pines Village, it’s been my experience that Louie Lee and Steve Redmond are by far the most knowledgeable agents in the community.”

That’s the professional assessment of broker Chuck Gargotto of the Kentwood Company of Greenwood Village describing the Castle Pines Village Realty veteran team. “They have the edge on the market and working with them is part of my time-tested protocol when I have a client who either wants to buy or sell a home in the Village.

“Whether the customer is interested in a new or a pre-owned home, it’s simply in their best interest that I work with the local experts to best serve their needs. Castle Pines Village Realty’s market position, and specifically Steve and Louie’s unrivaled scope and resources are invaluable to my business.”
