I have a degree in education from the University of Missouri. After teaching in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, for several years, my husband and I were thrilled to relocate to Denver. I taught school for four more years in Jefferson County. We lived in Arapahoe County for several years, prior to moving to the Parker area, where we fell in love with Douglas County's unparalleled quality of life. We were lured to beautiful Castle Pines Village in 1996, and we still live there, enjoying it's natural beauty and serenity every day. I love Colorado and I enjoy what I do! While skiing at Steamboat during Spring Break from university in Winnipeg, Canada, I knew I wanted to make Colorado my home. After completing my degree, I got married, moved to Colorado and never looked back.

Kurt and I are the parents of two amazing children, Michael and Jill, both in College. I am crazy about my 2 sweet Bouviers, my 2 hilarious cats and my 2 darling geriatric bunnies.

Richmond homes provided a consummate and exciting learning environment with entry level and then move up buyers. Five years later Mission Viejo offered the opportunity to work in Highlands Ranch with custom homes.

After touring the Parade of Homes in 1989, I fell in love with Castle Pines Village. When I began in 1990, there were 60 homes in the Village. There are now approximately 1600.

Jennifer Stroud

Since moving to Colorado in 1994, Jennifer Stroud has been active in the Front Range Real Estate market. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, Jennifer held marketing management positions for several builders, creating and executing successful marketing programs for new construction single family homes within diverse communities. In 2006, Jennifer turned her focus to sales and property management for a luxury condominium conversion project in the historic Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver. Her efforts to sell, lease and lease-to-own these homes – and successfully integrate owners with new rental residents - earned her way into the company’s employee recognition program after just six months. She later earned one of the company’s highest resident satisfaction rankings in 2009, as an office of one.

I have called Castle Rock home since 1991, but lived in Colorado for over 40 years. Although I have had the opportunity to extensively travel, I still maintain that Colorado is one of the greatest places in the world to live.

Castle Rock is not only a wonderful town in which to raise a family, but in my opinion, also employs some of the most dedicated and best teachers in the state. I had the privilege contributing to our community through volunteering while both my daughters attended the superb schools.

Originally, I earned a degree in Interior Design which launched my career in and love for Real Estate. While working as a designer and home sale stager, I then became a licensed Real Estate broker in 2005. Subsequently, I graduated from Regis University with a BA in Communication with a Public Relations/Event Planning focus.

I worked as an on-site sales associate for Shea Homes, Lennar Homes and Toll Brothers where I not only gained a great deal of experience in the new home building arena but also found a passion for guiding buyers through the complex and sometimes confusing process.

In 2008, while volunteering with a dog rescue group, I began training dogs and put my long time passion for animals into practice. It was quite a change from Real Estate, but meaningful and gratifying work that helped improve the lives of countless dogs and their owners. I found, that like helping someone buy or sell a home, both are emotional processes that require a logical, cooperative, straightforward approach in order to achieve positive results.

In 2012, while looking for a house to buy, I realized the timing was right to return to my roots in Real Estate.
